Butterfly Orchid (Arachnorchis lobata - formerly Caladenia lobata)

Flowers in Spring (Sep - Nov), favours shrubby forest in well drained soils, often on slopes of streams.  Flowers very large with broad tremulous labellum.

Crystalline Spider Orchid (Arachnorchis nivalis - formerly Caladenia nivalis)

Flowers in Spring (Sep - Oct), favours low heath on granite outcrops.  Flowers are brilliant white; lateral sepals and petals held stiffly.
