Hello and WELCOME.

Photography of flora has become my evolving hobby.  Over the years, my technique has improved but with the introduction of digital - I feel safe to publish a few.

Although the samples above are not my favorite subject, they are an indication of the challenge I enjoy whenever I go 'BUSH'.  I hope you like what you find as you look through my photos.  Remember:  If the cursor turns into a hand, press to experience the bigger picture (so to speak)

I have attempted to be as accurate as possible in the plant names but sometimes the old adage - they all look the same to me - applies.  Identification of Terrestrial Orchids is a challenge!  If you have corrections, please contact me:  Cathy

My Favorite Subject: Terrestrial Orchids

2010 proved to be a great year for Spider Orchids.  Areas like Deep Lead, Tallagiera, Geegeela (SA) and Buckingbong (NSW) provided a variety of species and colour forms - not to mention hybrids.  More images to come.
